Experienced property professionals
Our dedicated team of property professionals combines more than 20 years’ experience in the French real estate market.
Across our specialist disciplines of Property Management and Building Consultancy we provide national and international clients with a wealth of property management know-how, multi-lingual reporting and advice. Our expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including office, retail, hotel and leisure, light industrial and logistics centres and warehouses across France.
Being part of Workman LLP, the UK’s largest independent commercial Property Management and Building Consultancy firm, we are able to draw on a team of 630+ professionals to advise French investors and corporate owners moving into the UK property market.
Tapping in to more than 30 years’ of expertise
Established in 1983, Workman was founded in London to provide Property Management services to real estate investors seeking an enhanced level of service in a sector where this did not exist.
Workman achieved this through specialising in Property Management, excluding services more traditionally associated with the multi-disciplinary practice such as broking, valuations, lettings and sales.
In the late 1980s, Building Consultancy was added to the services provided by Workman to provide a unique combination that creates significant opportunities for investors.
Workman in France
The origins of the business in France go back to 1995 when Turnbull Associés was founded in Paris to provide Building Consultancy services to international investors and corporate clients in France.
Workman and Turnbull Associés joined forces in 2007 to launch Workman Turnbull, providing Property Management services in France for both French and international investors.
In France, as in Workman’s UK offices, the Property Management and Building Consultancy teams sit and work alongside each other and both benefit from the complementary skill sets. This close working relationship ensures a streamlined and coordinated approach when managing the asset, whether this be in day-to-day tenant liaison or the planning and project management of major works or renovation.
Workman remains independent and focused on the specialist service offering that clients have valued throughout the firm’s history. The firm has no links to, or commissions from, developers, agents or financial institutions, which means our advice is completely unbiased.
A multi-lingual team of professionals
Workman Turnbull and Turnbull Associés together employ more than 25 professional staff specialising in various disciplines across Property Management, Building Surveying, Accounting and Technical Management. The majority of the team is fluent in both English and French.
RICS qualified staff
The team includes eight Chartered Surveyors registered with the internationally recognised Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). We actively encourage CPD and support our employees who are working to gain RICS accreditation.
Recruitment and retention
We take great care in recruiting the best staff to enhance our teams and service our clients. We appoint talented individuals, provide on-going training and review performance regularly to ensure that their skills and experience develop to meet the highest standards.
We recognise that clients expect not just depth of knowledge, but also consistency of service, which is assured by low staff turnover and robust procedures.
Our team members are our greatest asset and we place great emphasis on initiatives to bring the best out of individuals and assist in their work-life balance.

We provide property management and building consultancy services for leading French and international clients, including Oxford Properties, Savills IM, Hines, CBRE Global Investors, GLL, ISM, AXA, M7 and Rockspring.
